Our final stop on a month-long road trip through the Pacific Northwest landed us in Sequoia National Park for 2 quick days! This park is absolutely stunning and was a place we had low expectations for but ended up enjoying our time. There is a lot to do and see in this park beyond the incredible trees like the hike to Moro Rock for sunset, one of the best experiences we had across the entire month.

Our Itinerary for 2 Days in Sequoia:

Day 0: Arrive in the afternoon and head to Grant Grove to walk around and explore the amazing Sequoia Trees. Find a close campsite to have an early evening.
Day 1: Head straight for General Sherman to beat the crowds. Enjoy the time driving here as the roads are incredibly beautiful as they cut through the sequoias. Take your time walking through the General Sherman area. We then headed to Crescent Meadows to walk through the trees and simply take our time. Here we were able to see a few bears and have time alone with the impressive trees. Finally, drive to Moro Rock and hike up the stairs for sunset. One of the most beautiful sunsets we saw on our road trip.
