Often I’ve had machinery come in and after getting it to run, I find it won’t stop.
They’ve used the choke to stop the machine because the kill switch doesn’t work.
That’s why there is smoke from the exhaust, because it’s partially blocked because of stopping it on choke. It’ll clear out as I’ve sorted the carb out on this machine.
I always check the meter by touching the probes together when check resistance, or continuity.
Other kill switches like this are similar inside, and repairable.
