Hello, welcome to Bilig Academia, I'm Emrecan. In this video, we talked about the daily life of Bodo and his family, who lived in the ninth century, in the Middle Ages, during the time of Charlemagne, King of the Franks. Based on the records of the feudal European period, and especially the monastic and church records of Irminon, the Abbot of Saint-Germain, we have obtained important information about the social life of the Christian serfs in those times. We were able to access information about Bodo and his family from the information in the book held in the name of the abbot named "Vilaris". More precisely, we were able to access it from Eileen Power's book "Medieval People", whose work we have quoted. Thus, we had the opportunity to touch the cultures, superstitions, and life practices of the people who lived at that time. We paid taxes with Bodo and his family, went to the field and church, plowed, spun and sewed clothes, danced, sang with the traveling bards, talked gossip, talked obscene, and more importantly, we had the opportunity to touch the rich silks of the east by going to the fair.
