Bandai Azuma Road (Bandai Azuma Skyline) is a toll road formerly located in Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture. It used to be a toll road managed by the Fukushima Prefectural Road Public Corporation, but was permanently opened to the public free of charge in 2013. It is part of the Fukushima-Azuma-Urabandai Route, Fukushima Prefectural Road No. 70. Even after the free-of-charge opening, the name Bandai-Azuma Skyline is still used as a common name.

It was like driving through an American desert, and like the Kusatsu-Shiga Kogen route, the road running through a volcanic area gave an unrealistic feeling, and the section from Tsubakurodani to Jodododaira was spectacular.

The section from Tsubakuro-dani to Jodododaira was so spectacular that I had to make a U-turn at the Jododaira rest house and go through it again...
