This video was recorded on 8th & 9th August 2024. We started our journey from Rishikesh at 7:00 am. The roads and the view was absolutely stunning. Though its monsoon & high chances of landslide but luckily we had a wonder clear sky. A few landslides but nothing too scary. On our way we visited Devprayag. Had our lunch near Nandaprayag. The restaurant was located at a beautiful location where we can enjoy the view of the river and the mountains. Then we reached Pipalkoti at 3:00 pm. Its a small town with a small market and a great view of the mountains. You can have the necessary things from here like medicines and others stuffs. On this route to valley of flowers you won't get any such markets after this place so you definitely wanna get what you need from here. Another thing mobile network after this place is going to be poor. So its better you carry cash with you. After spending the night at pipalkoti the next day we had our breakfast at 6:30 am and started our journey at 7:30 am for Govindghat. Again we witnessed the mesmerizing beauty of Uttarakhand mountains on the roads of Joshimath and reached Govindghat at 9:40 am. Then from there we hop on the local taxi and reached Pulna at 10:05 am. All the cars, our stay and food was included in our package provided by Trek The Himalayas. From Pulna we will start our 1st trek of this trip to Ghangaria which is gonna be our base camp for next 3 days. We will come back with that story in the next episode.
