Eco-friendly waste treatment firm ‘City Oil Field’ (친환경 플라스틱 분해 처리 기업 ‘도시유전’)

The consumption of delivery food has been increasing due to restraints from the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, the amount of plastic and vinyl wastes have been increasing. Amid the growing need for technology to deal with the landfill problem, City Oil Field is offering new answers to the recycling process with their eco-friendly decomposition of waste. It uses wave energy generated by ceramic balls to decompose plastic and make eco-friendly liquid fuel oil without generating odors or harmful substances during the process. What’s more, the company set up a separate research institute at Cambridge University in the UK, and has also been exploring business opportunities with Chinese companies as well.
