Nammit Saikrasoon has been a model for preserving the original forest in the Muang Ling Family Forest Model project since its early days. The forest here is rich and fertile, providing many people with resources such as food, mushrooms, and tubers, among other benefits. The landowners themselves have also reaped the benefits of the forest. The preserved original forest has proven to be incredibly valuable.
