Here we go. Follow along as I start my campaign to catch the big carp in my local park lake.

The lake itself was and hopefully is home to some gems. Once I witnessed around 50 carp basking in the warm spring sunshine, and I'm hoping most of them still remain. These carp are notoriously tricky to catch, especially as the lake gets pressured heavily on a regular basis. The lake holds a couple of 30's, 2 big ghosties and some really wild looking fish too. Other species that could crop up are double figure bream, two catfish and some big tench too.

This lake is all about timing, usually the fish turn on best after a long period of rain and a westerly wind.

In this campaign I hope to show you the big ghositie which is my target fish and some big commons too.
