Katê là Lễ hội lớn nhất và dân gian đặc sắc nhất của người Chăm theo đạo Bàlamôn - Hindu ở Ninh Thuận với ý nghĩa tưởng nhớ đến các vị thần và cầu mong mưa thuận, gió hòa, mùa màng thuận lợi, cầu mong cho sự hòa hợp lứa đôi, sự sinh sôi nảy nở của con người và vạn vật.
Lễ hội Kate diễn ra hàng năm trong 3 ngày theo tháng 7 lịch của người Chăm, năm nay là nhằm ngày 1,2,3 tháng 10 năm 2024.

Kate is the biggest and most unique folk festival of the Cham people following Brahmanism - Hinduism in Ninh Thuan with the meaning of remembering the gods and praying for favorable rain, wind, favorable crops, praying for harmony between couples, the growth of people and all things.
Kate festival takes place annually for 3 days according to the 7th month of the Cham calendar, this year is 01-02-03/10/2024.
