Skate4me was originally started as a way to share my journey of learning to rollerskate and ramp skate on quadskates after learning I was an alcoholic and all round poor excuse for a human I had no choice but to put down the drink, deal with the grief I had spent 7 years hiding from after the death of my mother and to try my best to be a better human, father and example for my daughter.
After 6 months being sober I decided to make this vlog as it is a tool I wish I had during my early sobriety, this is where the #soberholic ideal was born

It is possible to be happy sober.
Life is better without alcohol.
Addiction can be beaten.
It is possible to forgive yourself.
You are normal, it will be ok.
