Introducing my 2000 C5 Corvette build to the channel! Some turbo ls goodness for those of you who like this sort of stuff. This video is pretty soft, just wanted to put the feelers out for who all likes the turbo c5 or turbo corvette type of content. Regardless, there will be more to come.
Right after I had built the custom turbo kit, and finished the FRC roof conversion (was originally a convertible corvette) ‪@1320video‬ had shared some pics on their Facebook page. There was no info on the car at the time, nor was I tagged in the photo, but it was pretty exciting for me to see my twin turbo corvette up on 1320videos page. I've left a small screenshare with some of the comments at the end of the video here.
This video was mostly put together a while back, but never posted, so stay tuned for big updates and content on the car coming very soon! Previously the car had been tuned using ‪@HPTuners‬ on the stock computer. It's now getting a ‪@HolleyPerformance‬ holley terminator x ecu, Holley 120lb fuel injectors, and a few other little upgrades to help sort some bugs, and get this twin turbo corvette where it needs to be. The turbo c5 corvette frc made over 900HP to the wheels previously, right around 1000HP at the crank on 15psi. This is a fully forged 408 Cubic inch stroker, based off of a 6.0 LS iron block, with LSA cylinder heads, with a custom-grind turbo cam. The twin turbo corvette runs on pump gas and methanol, and gets driven every chance I get. Hope you enjoyed the video, more to come on this twin turbo c5 soon.
