In a significant stride towards enhancing passenger experience, the ambitious project to metamorphose Cuttack railway station into a world-class facility is currently in progress. Indian Railways has detailed a meticulous plan that encompasses various facets of redevelopment, aiming to create a state-of-the-art transportation hub.

The redevelopment initiative encompasses a broad spectrum of improvements, with a particular emphasis on infrastructure development. The comprehensive plan includes the refurbishment of air concourses, renovation of platforms and platform shelters, enhancement of circulating areas, installation of platform lighting, creation of Food Court Zones and Shopping Areas, efficient Waste Management, upgrading waiting rooms and toilets, and the introduction of much-needed elevators for the convenience of passengers.
