I took my 2011 BMW 528i in to the dealership for warranty work. My car was bouncing rpms on startup and having a rough idle. The engine was noisy and sounded like a diesel truck. This turned out to be an issue that is covered by BMW extended warranty for 10 years on all these inline 6 engines from 2011-13.
