These lights were manufactured by Royal Electric Co. of Pawtucket, Rhode Island in 1950. They operate via a transformer and are (C-6) miniature-based lamps that blink on an off randomly. These were the first blinking lights that were introduced long before independent-burning candelabra-based C-7 blinking lights and midget-based blinking lights became commonplace.
