I found a pod of bigger grassies, stationed behind a tire. The biggest didn't want anything to do with the flies I presented. I had one spit out a fly and one follow/refusal. After losing about 10 flies to snags, and many casts, one grassy liked what it saw, and ate. After the grassy was released, I had to rest in the shade before climbing out, because I was starting to see stars.
