Our visit to the Beamish open air museum in September 2024.

Created and established on the 1970's, this site covers over 350 acres, so a full day is needed if you want to see the complete site in one day. You can choose to walk or take one of the classic busses or trams to the different areas.

Entry cost per adult was around £27.00 per person, but the ticket you receive lasts for 1 year after the purchase date and is valid for multiple entries.

A Great place to visit if you want to see how life was line back in the 1820's through to the 1950's.
There are different areas dedicated to a certain time periods, and each area has good amenities for food and toilets.

I would recommend this a place to visit.
