Gracias a ‪@Locket846‬ y ‪@sr.clumsy7802‬ por ayudando me con las letras

I translated this, so I apologize if I made some mistakes with the translation, but Clumsy helped me a bit with the translation, so ya

There's a monologue that comes with it in every recording I could find of this song, so I had to cut out the monologue. The videos would be around 2-3 minutes (counting the song) , so ya they take a chunk of the performance. But the last couple lines of the speech are the following:

"Dicen que soy insurgente
(They say I'm an insurgent)
eso no me da cuidado
(I don't really care about that)
mas vale ser insurgente
(It's better to be an insurgent)
que sera callejado"
(Than to be on the streets)

The song is about (some of) the martyrs who fought for Mexico's independence. Listed in order of the song, they're:

José María Morelos,
Pedro Celestino Negrete,
Hermenegildo Galeana,
Vicente Guerrero,
Nicolás Bravo,
and Mariano Matamoros

The most Influential hero out of all of them was Jose Morelos who some consider to be the real 'father' of Mexico, although that is controversial with most people accepting that Miguel Hidalgo is the father of Mexico, but I digress.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Soldados valientes del señor Morelos,
aboquen cañones y hagan prisioneros.

Soldados valientes del señor Negrete
toquen a degüello y entren a machete

Soldados valientes del señor Galeana
A luchar con fuerza que nadie les gana

Soldados valientes del señor Guerrero
Por la libertad eso es lo primero

Soldados valientes de Nicolás Bravo
A los gachupines denles por el rabo

Soldados pelé junto a Matamoros
Por la independencia que es nuestro tesoro

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
