The Wilson Evo NXT College basketball has a basketball problem.

Is this ball is ruining March Madness?

Players and coaches have spoken up about it and it could be the reason for some low scores and serious shooting droughts in the last NCAA Tournaments.

Is it the reason your team lost?
That’s complicated.

But the issues with it has created a discussion about college basketball that for some reason has never been brought up before.

You have probably noticed the last two seasons the NCAA Tournament has been played with this bright orange ball.

Some people thought I was crazy and while they may be right about that, they may also be wrong about the impact of using a different basketball come March.

We talk about the ball in almost every other sport.

⁃ 2010 World Cup
⁃ Baseballs Juiced

But to mention the ball as an issue in the game of basketball makes people roll their eyes and consider you a conspiracy theorist.

But what’s even crazier / dumber is that there is not an official NCAA basketball being used in every conference and every arena in the country.

As you will see in this video, that is very much a problem.
