The story of the origin of the city of Bandung begins with the Citarum river, a river in Bandung. In the past, there was a powerful man named Empu Wisesa, he had a daughter named Sekar. Empu Wisesa also has two students, namely Wira and Jaka. The two students were found when Empu Wisesa visited the village affected by the lava from the eruption of Mount Tangkuban Perahu. At that time, he found two babies whose parents had died. Then, he took care of him. Apart from caring for Wira and Jaka, Empu Wisesa also imparted martial arts knowledge and life wisdom to his two students.
