Tough work for guys and machine! Forestry contractor Hari Polleros started out transporting timber, then just two years ago, he and his brother Franz got into the logging business. They bought a TST Junior tower yarder from forestry equipment manufacturer TST Seilgeräte Tröstl GmbH – which, as Hari explained to us, is the ideal machine for this kind of work.
The Timbernator harvester head is powered by a 26-tonne Case crawler excavator – a very well-balanced combination that Hari really enjoys working with.
Inclusive a glimpse of the Kalte-Rinne viaduct with its two stories and 15 arches, it’s the largest of its kind on the Semmering Railway, and a breath-taking view of the snow-capped Schneeberg - the highest peak in Lower Austria. Enjoy!
