He talks to Thibodaux native Richard “Gibbins” Robichaux about the origin of the city’s name and the importance of Bayou Lafourche to its history. Whinham and Robichaux also visit the Rienzi Plantation and St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. Whinham also speaks to Thibodaux artist Billy Ledet about his work, including his painting of former Governor Francis T. Nicholls. Lastly, Whinham tours Nicholls State University with Professor Emeritus Dr. Alfred Delahaye.
