This is just one of the reasons why I use fishing line in the bee frames DD nuc box. Building fast, laying fast & ( beeing happy. )
I have been asked how I extract honey from a frame with out foundation, good question. I use 20 lb. fishing line most of the time. The bees build foundation, some time I will us store bought wax foundation that I bought about 20 years ago when I started, I used plastic too.
When the bees have capped the honey you can spin it, starting very slowly until it has balanced out, you can speed it up as you go. Don't get in a hurry... This is what I do, may NOT work for you, it is a learning thing .. Just my opinion..
