In this video, the first of a 2-part series, I show how to load Data on Demand (without using R Scripts) by limiting the data to a unique value in one of the columns.

Data on Demand is used when you have an external data table, but you don't want to load all of the data in Spotfire because it's either 1. irrelevant to your analysis 2. so large that it would slow down Spotfire. I have a SQL Server database table with over 8 million rows of data, but in this example, we're only loading wells with production from the Mississippi formation.
